I remember as a kid that I would always have breakfast as an important “start” to my day. As I’ve gotten older, I still incorporate breakfast into my success practices in the morning, as well as several other rituals, such as:
- State positive affirmations to myself before my feet hit the floor (in the form of “I AM” statements)
- Meditation
- Prayer / Bible study
- Breakfast
- When I get into my office, I have a ritual of putting on certain essential oils
- I spend about 20 minutes checking in on various social networks
- I get a cup of coffee and settle in to check my inbox, etc. and start my work day
What rituals do you incorporate into starting your day?
You have a great line up for starting the day and making it successful. My lineup is in a slightly different order and I skip the coffee.
