We recommend a pretty rigorous posting schedule for our clients. We recommend posting to your business page on FB 5/week, posting in content-relevant groups within LI 3/week, posting content on Twitter 15 times per week with a dedicated and unique hashtag for your followers to use.
One of the fun things about this is that you can re-purpose your content and use a post on FB and expand it out into a blog post. If it’s a post that gets lots of comments, you could consider turning it into an article…and eventually maybe a chapter in a multi-author collaboration book or a chapter of your own book. Lots of fun and interesting ways to proliferate your info!

I try to post something on Facebook each day. I tend to forget Twitter, but try to post at least once a day as well. I simply don’t have time to keep up with both all the time. I have 5 Facebook accounts I keep track of and make comments on. That’s a full-time job! Social media can be exhausting! Thinking of hiring my own VA to help me with my VA social media duties!

Hi RW – Use a service like Hootsuite.com to manage all of your accounts.. Facebook to Twitter to LinkedIn. Then you won’t feel so overwhelmed. Question: why 5 Pages?
