This photo is currently on the desktop of my computer and every time I look at it, it reminds me of the most challenging day hike my husband and I completed this year.
And it also sparks excitement and pride at the most difficult day hike we undertook this year.
This is near the top of Cloud’s Rest in Yosemite. It’s around 21 miles roundtrip and over 6,000 feet of climb. It took us close to 12 hours to finish.
This quote spoke to the heart of this experience for me and I’d add to it, “and it’s worth it.”
