As we round the corner into the 4th quarter of 2013, I start to reflect on this year’s achievements and goals and begin to plan what I intend to accomplish in 2014.
I personally like to use a vision board to capture all of the things I intend to focus on attracting. I break mine into categories around my business, travel, family, personal care (health and wellness), and home.
I look through magazines and online for images that reflect what I intend to achieve in those particular areas. For example, in the category for my health and wellness, or self care, I have images of a woman relaxing in a bubble bath with candles around and others of essential oil bottles, as well as books as I enjoy reading (and not just business related books :)).
One important step in using a vision board is to keep it in a place where you will walk by it frequently. And take a few moments to focus on it very single day!
From my vision board, I begin to work on my goals for the upcoming year and get really specific, from the broad 30,000-foot view (the year overview) down to the monthly goals, the daily goals and even activities for achieving those goals.
