vision boards do youAs we round the corner into the 4th quarter of 2013, I start to reflect on this year’s achievements and goals and begin to plan what I intend to accomplish in 2014.

I personally like to use a vision board to capture all of the things I intend to focus on attracting. I break mine into categories around my business, travel, family, personal care (health and wellness), and home.

I look through magazines and online for images that reflect what I intend to achieve in those particular areas. For example, in the category for my health and wellness, or self care, I have images of a woman relaxing in a bubble bath with candles around and others of essential oil bottles, as well as books as I enjoy reading (and not just business related books :)).

One important step in using a vision board is to keep it in a place where you will walk by it frequently. And take a few moments to focus on it very single day!

goalsettingFrom my vision board, I begin to work on my goals for the upcoming year and get really specific, from the broad 30,000-foot view (the year overview) down to the monthly goals, the daily goals and even activities for achieving those goals.

I’m in the process of completing my vision board for 2014 and I’ll share it here when it’s complete.

What practice are you in as you begin preparing for the new year? I’d love to hear about it!

Do you use a vision board? I’d love to see a photo of it! 🙂
