On this trek a few months ago between Carson Pass and Ebbett’s Pass, I felt like every few hundred steps, I’d look up and see the spectacular amazing beauty and say something like “oh my gosh, this is so pretty.”
And then a few hundred more steps, “oh wow – beautiful.” And so on. It wasn’t until I came across this quote from Katrina Mayer very recently that I could articulate the feeling I was experiencing.
