The excitement of the hiking and backpacking season is fully upon the Hise Hikers! 
We applied for our permit for the stretch on the Pacific Crest Trail from Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite to Sonora Pass… high Sierras and the spectacular beauty that is found only in the Sierras. 
Now, we wait to hear that our permit was accepted.
And I am reminded of the quote by Ram Dass that says, “The quieter you become, the more you can hear.” For a lot of reasons, this quote resonates deeply with me today.
