In my visual communications class last semester, the instructor would end every class by saying “the more you know…” and have us complete it with “the more you see.”
It’s a quote by Aldous Huxley and it’s incredibly deep and powerful.
And for us in this class, the instructor was challenging us to notice more, see more, and observe more.
It’s a practice I’ve gotten into, thanks in part to this class challenging me.
