As we huffed and puffed our way up Mt. Whitney last weekend, we would stop every hour or so and take a break. Partly to eat, partly to drink water, partly to stretch, and partly to catch our breath. Especially as the elevation increased. 🦖
Funny thing about taking a break along the way… the power of the pause… 🥰
At one point we stopped and I turned back to see this gorgeous sunrise. And then, I noticed the sun starting to illuminate and change the colors in the rock faces we hadn’t been able to see before. It was incredible. Magical. Divine.🙏🏽
I’m mindful that without the breaks and the pauses, taking note of those things wouldn’t happen. 🤓
