Your Friendly Hise Hikers Tuesday Tip: Sometimes The Only Thing To Say Is Nothing At All.
Over the last 10 days, we were fortunate to spend time together with three different sets of friends who share our passion for the outdoors. We camped, hiked, backpacked, SUP’d, swam, and disconnected.
It was wonderful.
One thing that keeps coming back to me is the strong moments of resilient silence.
The moments where the awe of the beauty of what we were seeing overtook us all. The photo I’m including here was taken by our friend we backpacked with… this is at one of our most favorite places – Lake Aloha in Desolation Wilderness.
While I’m still noodling over all of the things that I’ve experienced this past week, suffice it to say that my heart is very full and I am very much in a place of deep gratitude and appreciation. For everything.
Much love to you.
