It’s funny how sometimes when time goes by, and I hear a quote numerous times, that I have a deeper connection to it.
What do I mean by this?
Every trip into nature, I learn a little bit more about myself.
Every trip into nature, I experience a bit of catharsis in my emotions.
Every trip into nature, I always learn something… whether I set out to learn it or not.
I used to think that this Tolkien quote was kind of whimsical and fun and now I have experienced this on a soul-level.
Sometimes I wander because I am looking for something.
Other times, I wander because I am searching for healing.
Yet still other times, I wander because I am seeking catharsis that only nature can provide.
Isn’t it interesting how differently a quote can be received, depending on where the reader is in relation to the quote in their life and experiences?
