Think About It Thursday… What We Don’t Know About…
On a backpacking trip last summer, we were camped in a high country location at a place called East Lake. Gorgeous granite all around, gorgeous alpine lakes… and high country thunderstorms that happen almost every afternoon in the summer.
We had gone out for a day hike from our base camp and when we got back, it started raining…and hailing… and it got pretty wild. After the storm below passed, I was out wandering around and captured some stunning photos and I heard this little voice share “there is an intimacy that’s shared between the weather and the landscape and only they know about what goes on.” And that thought stuck with me for the rest of the trip. How beautiful. ❤
