So it finally happened!
Wanna celebrate with us?
On our third attempt to reach Mission Peak, we were successful!
A few of the super exciting things that happened along the way:
* We watched a parasailor come down from the mountain
* We saw at least 8 rabbits in various spots on the trail – they were so cute!
* We watched the sunset as we were making our way back down the trail
* We enjoyed the spectacular 360 degree, jaw-dropping views from the top
Stats:
6.2 miles round trip
2,100 feet of elevation gain
While this was not the most challenging summit we’ve bagged, we definitely appreciate the effort that it took to make it happen for this one!
I am carrying that feeling and sense of accomplishment with me today.
