The photo in this post looks very similar to an area of the Pacific Crest Trail where we hiked meadow after meadow in Yosemite National Park.
I will tell you this interesting factoid about meadows: these are the places where bears like to hang out… why? Lush food options and a reliable water source. And nearly every bear encounter we have had has been in/ at/ or near a meadow.
