Think About It Thursday: Love Yourself First.

I workout hard every day and challenge myself to see what my body is capable of doing.

I challenge myself in every training hike, snowshoeing adventure, and outdoor opportunity I get to connect more deeply with God, myself, my husband (and anyone else we are out with).

I eat healthy and nutritious foods because they provide nourishment and fuels my body to do the things I want to continue doing.

I listen to my body and give it what it needs, which sometimes means taking a rest day or an active recovery day. And that’s ok, too.

I choose to work hard and play hard because I want to squeeze every moment, opportunity, encounter, etc. I can out of this life.

I do these things, not as punishment, I do them with love for myself at the forefront.

It’s not selfish to take care of myself… it allows me to fill my own cup and then I can be of even more service and value to those I show up for.
