Boy, it has been a week.

Lots of projects happening.

Lots of balls in the air.

Can you relate?

I am grateful that I didn’t have a bunch of meetings today and I was able to give my body rest, take time and do some deep stretching, take several short walks, and more.

I’ll also say I’m grateful that I recognize signs of burnout and know when to seek support and take extra time for self-care.

Sometimes that means muting Messenger or turning off your phone (or at least turning the volume of notifications off).

Sometimes it means reaching out to a friend for a chat.

Sometimes it is a lengthy journaling session.

Sometimes it is taking yourself on a lunch date.

I’ll leave you with this:

Listening to your body is always a good idea.

Asking for support or help isn’t a weakness.

Self-care isn’t selfish.
