It is ok

to step away…

to slow down…

to rest…

to take a break…

At any time… and, after many conversations this week- especially during the holidays, this reminder is important.

It doesn’t have to be a long break or rest – even a few minutes away from your desk can be tremendously supportive.

Sometimes in difficult situations, I do my best to remove myself from it, find a place where I can have a moment to get grounded, and then I put my hand on my heart and repeat, “I’m here and I’m ok.”
