When you leave the house, always be prepared… if you’re not prepared and you turn the first corner in the neighborhood of your trek and begin to feel rain sprinkles, it’s advisable to turn back and swap out that top layer for a rain jacket.

On this particular day, it rained pretty consistently for the 4-miles we hiked… everything was good though since we had our trusty REI rain jackets to keep us dry.
