On a recent backpacking trip with a friend, we completed a 27-mile stretch on the PCT in an area that was pretty exposed (not a lot of shade) and incredibly hot. It was also incredibly gorgeous – wildflowers everywhere, interesting terrain, and spectacular views of Mt. Shasta and Mt. Lassen. 🗻
We enjoyed time chatting about various subjects, lots of introspective time and ultimately, enjoying things that make us happy – it’s difficult to articulate, however, I think this photo captures the pure enjoyment in our souls. 😍 🦖
