Motivation Monday: Let Go Of Certainty…
Wait… say what now?
Hear me out… I came across this quote and it resonated so deeply for me. “Creativity requires the courage to let go of certainty.” – Erich Fromm
Over the past few months, working on this project over the past few months, I can say I’ve definitely released my grip on certainty. And I’ve learned there’s so much possibility in creativity along the way.
How I interpreted this quote was to mean that in certainty, I feel I have to adhere to strict rules and principles (you know, coloring within the lines kind of thing) and in creativity, anything can be possible if I’m willing to embrace the unknown and uncertain. Hmm, yeah, I’m ok with it… excited about it even!
