Virtual Assistant 6-week Mentor Program

Children watching tvAre you a stay-at-home parent looking to start a business from home that is flexible and also allows you to provide for your family?

Join me in this unique opportunity to start your own business as a virtual assistant in my Virtual Assistant Mentor Program.

For 6 weeks, you’ll receive:

  • Emails
  • How-tos
  • Checklists
  • Templates and more to start and grow your own business
  • Unlimited Email or Voxer access to me throughout the program
  • One 30-minute one-on-one Zoom sessions with me to ask questions, flesh out your own business ideas and more!

What is really unique about this program is that I am running it in large part via email, due to a vocal disorder that I have, which prevents me from hosting conference calls or otherwise speaking “normally.” Upon receiving this diagnosis in early 2013, I took the challenge on and became determined that I could continue to grow my business, help others start and grow theirs, and continue to support my clients – and I was right, my business grew 25% last year and it continues to grow and prosper.

Imagine having your own business, being able to add to your family’s income,
perhaps help to save for a vacation or holiday gifts or travel – the possibilities truly are limitless!

I initially started my VA business thinking it would be a fun way to meet new people, help business owners do what they love and maybe make a little money doing it. During the first few years of my business, I learned so much and grew so much that I was making more income part-time than I was in another at-home business I had been doing. I decided then it was time to flip the switch and go full-time with my VA business. My husband and I sat down and set some fairly aggressive goals, which included my income providing toward our mutual savings and retirement goals – something that makes me proud to contribute to each month!

Here are the topics we’ll be covering during our time together:

Week 1: The basics (what is a VA, setting goals, how to structure your business)

Week 2: Setting up your systems (email, time management, your rates, payment systems, etc.)

Week 3: Client Attraction (how and where to find clients)

Week 4: Intake procedures (agreements, contracts, etc.)

Week 5: Nurture those relationships – build and grow

Week 6: Final Q & A, wrap-up and CELEBRATION!

At the end of 6 weeks, you’ll be ready to take on your own clients or you will have an opportunity to interview to become a part of my team and assist me in supporting my clients.

What others are saying about Pretty Smart Virtual Services:

“Before I met Dortha, I worked with many other virtual assistants. Either they didn’t get me, or they were driving me to a heart attack. I can’t tell you how many times (I think EVERY time) the work that they promised to have done by a certain time would be LATE, thus affecting my income (and my stress levels!). And I can’t tell you how many of my emails went unanswered, leaving me with no idea as to whether they had time to do the work I was asking for, or if it was getting done. Since working with Dortha, everything has been on time and every request answered. She is honest and open about what she can and cannot do. And if she cannot get to something, she always has someone else on board who can. She is also a lovely human and I enjoy our interactions. I really had no idea that running this business could be so easy, smooth and enjoyable! Thank you, Dortha- I am truly grateful!” -Miranda Zukowski, http://mirzukfitness.com/

“People always ask me how I was able to grow my business so fast. I tell them that it was only possible because I have such a great team. Dortha Hise is one of those amazing people who has helped me get so much done. It is wonderful to be able to work with someone who is as committed to my success as I am. Thanks Dortha!”  –Michele Scism, http://decisiveminds.com/

“If you want to learn how to be a Virtual Assistant, you want to learn from my dear friend Dortha for sure! She knows her stuff and has been my VA/OBM for a few years now and I don’t know what I would do without her. She knows about the back end the front end and all the hats you’ll have to wear as a VA working for yourself from home. It’s one of the easiest business models to start up too and I should know, I’ve been a business and marketing coach for over 12 years and have talked with thousands of entrepreneurs.” – Katrina Sawa, The Jumpstart Your Biz Coach, Speaker and Author of Love Yourself Successful, KatrinaSawa.com

ProfilePic-199x300 Who am I?

I’ve been an Online Business Manager and Virtual Assistant for several years and prior to that, I spent a decade working in the fast-paced legal field as a litigation paralegal. In 2004, I began working with my first client as a research assistant and my role continually evolved and grew – and I loved it. I began taking classes to expand my knowledge base and offering to my clients and really felt I was truly in alignment with my life purpose.
