Friday Fun…
On a drive to an overnight backpacking trip last summer, we stopped at this spectacularly gorgeous overlook… the Alabama Hills are off in the distance and the views went on forever.
I have this album of photos on my desktop screensaver in a slideshow right now… Jason came over the other day and said, “OMG, I **LOVE** that picture of you!”
And while I also love this picture of me, I also love the feeling it elicits when I look at it. I remember standing close to the edge of this turnout in the road (which was very narrow, btw) and feeling a sense of wonder, awe, and badassness all at the same time.
