“A good
intention clothes itself with sudden power.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

They say that each day is the first day of the rest of our lives.

That’s why I take time as soon as I wake up each day to intend what I will do with my life each day.

Whatever I have chosen to put on my calendar for the day, I spend time envisioning my intentions for engaging or accomplishing that activity.

If I have set an appointment with a client for that day, as soon as I wake up I begin to envision the intended result I will be co-creating with that client during our conversation together.

In fact, at the start of each coaching call with a client, I ask this question:  “What do you intend to achieve, receive and/or release as a result of this coaching session?”  By doing so, we both know exactly what we intend to discuss and accomplish together.

If I have set an appointment for co-creating a business project with another person or persons that day, as soon as I open my eyes I begin to envision the result I intend to achieve — if at all possible — by the end of that meeting.

Possibility’ is the energy that gives intentions their power.

Possibility‘ is much stronger than a hope, a wish, a desire that something will happen.

Possibility‘ fills me with a sense that I have a measure of effectiveness in determining the outcome.

I must feel that there is a real possibility that my intended results can be achieved…otherwise what’s the point of giving my time and attention to that meeting or that project?

Without that sense of possibility, I might as well cancel the activity, the meeting, the project because it can only be a waste of time.

With that sense of possibility — I am able to envision, plan, and implement each activity required to achieve my intended outcome!
