We’ve started this question already, and now I’d like to go a more in-depth into the discussion. This is the first installment in a series of blogs related to info products.  For today, we’ll start with discussing what an info product is.

An Info product is anything digital that can be downloaded from your website, or emailed to a person. This is different from a physical product such as a book or DVD you may sell at a presentation. Examples of info products include:

  • Blogs
  • Articles
  • Special Reports
  • eBooks
  • Newsletters
  • Tele-classes
  • Webinars
  • Podcasts
  • Videos

The beauty of an info product is they can build upon and complement each other, as people may use different mediums to get information (one person may go to a blog weekly, where another person will read the newsletter that comes into their inbox every week). For example, a blog may be used as a starting point for an article, and then a newsletter can be used to highlight the article. Several articles can become chapters in a book.

Next week, you can tune into my interview with Power Women Magazine and Radio Show, as I discuss how to use info products to grow your business:
